In 430 BC, the plague that hit Athens during the Peloponnesian War finally struck. It had hit the city of Athens which was under blockade by Sparta while the Peloponnesian War. For a good amount of years the plague infected most of the population and eventually infected most of the city’s population. In today’s day and age we are facing a virus that came out of nowhere and is starting to infect a loot people. Much like plague, Covid-19 is taking a lot of people by surprise and just like back then there wasn’t much to know about the virus. But now in current time we still don’t know much about the virus as it continues to wipe people out and we have to learn.
