"Globalization has grown throughout history due to advances in transportation and communication technology."
we also went over how with the increased global connections comes the growth of international trade, ideas, and culture sharing. Globalization is primarily an economic process of interaction and integration that's associated with social and cultural aspects. And how the steam locomotive, steamship, jet engine, and modern container ships are some of the advances in the means of transport while the rise of the telegraph and its modern offspring, the Internet and mobile phones show development in telecommunications infrastructure. All of these improvements have been major factors in globalization and have generated further interdependence of economic and cultural activities around the globe.

we disscused toward the end of class how the Globalization is a process that is difficult to define and sometimes even harder to understand. On a basic level, we can think about things that we use the most and identify the places, and also the people, around the world that we are unknowingly connected to. Very quickly, you will see that you are connected to many more places than you had possibly thought about.
